Game Marketplace Update

Well it all started with Halo Waypoint, and it seems a number of other games has followed suit.

Not quite to the extent and capacity of Halo Waypoint whereby you find all information Halo related through the various news updates and video downloads.

The games, or should I say game series that have followed in this direction of a free downloadable program are:

Rock Band

Guitar Hero

Lips

Well the fact of the matter is they are not designed to the same extent that is Halo Waypoint. All these games have effectively released an interactive download marketplace where all "Rock Band", "Guitar Hero" and "Lips" is located

Therefore you no longer have the trouble of Exploring Game Content which lets be honest, isn't exactly the nicest thing to have to navigate through

All programs are designed in the same fashion as its games, so expect to see the Lips interface in the store as well as Rock Band interfaces and Guitar Hero interfaces in their stores.

Note: For some reason Guitar Hero have chosen to call their program: Guitar Hero VIP Pass and not just "Music Store" like Rock Band and Guitar Hero

Also note that with Guitar Hero, the only present accessible downloadable content is from Guitar Hero World Tour onwards.

I personally hope that this trend of downloadable content continues, but the only other program I can for see using this format will be DJ Hero when it has enough downloadable content anyway.
