Yes the duo have returned

Busy busy busy with life most of which has been work - eat - game - sleep and not necessary in that order

With Eurogamer returning for a third year with a barrage of games that we will be playing in the next 1-12 months, we have decided that we should return to putting our thoughts on all things xbox back into our blog.

So Sparky has asked me to begin with writing my comments on what we sampled so far at Eurogamer and I will treat this as an achievement challenge....(Which I have never won but not from the what of trying)

My favourite game was Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, which is due to hit our shelf’s on November the 19th which can’t come to soon in my opinion.
The demo/beta I got my hands on was a 2v2 cop’s verses robber’s style outrun where the robbers floor it in an effort to make it to the state line, it seems like EA has gone back to the games roots and added perks. As the police you can set up a road block or event call in the assistance of a helicopter which adds to the experience.

We are 2……..ummm I mean 11! Yes another EA title, this time from its sports arm. FIFA 11 was let loose on the world this weekend and there were plenty of consoles set up to at Eurogamer to show what’s new this year, from my first impressions of the game it seemed almost as if it has been redesigned from the base level and I found playing in the style as you would play FIFA 10 and before would leave you heading for the bottom of the table quicker the Liverpool but with that said the game has really set the bar high for Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer with its stunning visuals once you do adjust you might just find that FIFA will be keeping the titles of the only football game you’ll need this year.

Def Jam Rapstar had by far the most exciting set up at the whole show and like flies me and Sparky were attracted to the light to experience what is was like to be a rap star and damn was it just that, the game plays like a pimped out version of Lips and when I say pimped out I don’t mean its just got a new set of rims. The game couples with the xbox camera which will allow you can record your own rap videos and once your happy with the finish article you can upload it to Facebook, MySpace or YouTube to prove to your friends you got the skills to ‘Spit some tunes’.

Medal of Honour was also at the show and seemed pretty much ready to go up against the big guns like Call of Duty and Halo which is what I think they set up to prove at Eurogamer with a linked set up of 16 consoles players got a glimpse of the multiplayer going head to head in a team deathmatch. In my eyes this games is only going to fill in the gap until the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops (Which we will be attending).
