Microsoft may be warming up to make the announcement that they will be no longer releasing any future revision of its portable media player Zune and plan to instead focus it time developing the Windows Phone 7 platform.
The rumour started when an unnamed person inside Microsoft suggested to Bloomberg that they want to move in a different direction because of “tepid demand”
This could also indicate they may be readying themselves for the next version of the Xbox by tying up any loose ends but let’s not get ahead of ourselves just yet.
Microsoft declined to comment on it future plans for the Zune.
